MY TEACHING STYLE
My teaching is rooted in play, simplicity, and experimentation—the same principles that guide my painting. I encourage students to begin with intuition rather than a strict plan, exploring how color can convey emotion, how space can create pause, and how art can slow us down in a fast-moving world. Like my own work, my approach invites reflection and connection, helping students engage deeply with both the creative process and the feelings that emerge along the way.
Her enthusiasm to teach makes it fun and relaxing. Her knowledge of different art materials and their uses makes each project fun and different. She is great at personally demonstrating and teaching the different techniques and steps to creating the art piece. There is never a dull moment with Alicia in the room, she is truly talented and her love of art shines!
